6x8 hardback book with dust jacket and 194 pages by Corporal Thomas R. St. George.
Copyright taken in 1943 by St. George and published by Garden City Publishing Co. in 1944.
The book is about St. George's experiences being drafted and sent off to fight in Australia during WW II. It reads like a long, informal, humorous letter home. Lots of line sketches to illustrate his comments.
Book is in good condition. There are no loose, missing, torn or turned down pages. The jacket has a few small tears on the front bottom and the back of the jacket has a pinkish stain, it looks like something wet was set down on it.
Please email me if you have questions. Would make an interesting addition to any library of WW II memorabilia. Will ship in bubble padded envelope.
